What a Wonderful Weekend!
What a Joy!
What a joy it was to see so many of you at the amazing family 2023 reunion of the Wyche and the Newsome families! Approximately 100 relatives meeting together coming from different states including the Virgin Islands.
We enjoyed a wonderful time in Hampton Roads Virginia where we learned more about our heritage and history. We visited Ft Monroe, the Emancipation Oak, Hampton University campus, and the Newsome House in Newport News with a knowledgeable guide. We also had a special night where we celebrated our ancestors and honored our current Patriarch and Matriarch. It was a touching and inspiring event for everyone. Please share your pictures, videos and written impressions of the reunion with us. We would love to see them and hear from you!
